I don't know about that particular one but I'll bet you're right, Hitchcock trailers probably are good. I'd be interested in seeing a number of them, the one you mentioned and maybe 'Foreign Correspondent', 'Psycho', 'Rope', 'The 39 Steps', 'North by Northwest', etc.
If I had to pick one of these I'd think it'd be 'Rope'. Given the fact that the story was based on the Leopold-Loeb homosexual murder case from the 20s, I think it might be interesting to see how this picture was marketed at the time of its original release.
I can remember seeing the trailer for 'Family Plot' at cinema, and I have the one for 'Rebecca' on VHS.

The trailer for Hitchcock's "Frenzy" was a scream. Funny wise I mean, or as the Brits would say, "veddy droll". Hitch is walking around a crime scene casually telling viewers about his new movie concerning a strangler. He removes a necktie from a female victim and puts it on without missing a beat.
